Nelly's Pub & Grill

Great casual restaurant and pub directly off if the main street in city center of Saint Albans. Great draft beer list and variety of food options. All their daily specials looked great, I had the PEI mussels in garlic white wine sauce which was very good. The son devoured the half rack of baby back ribs which came with very flavorful Mac & Cheese (which had extra surprise of bacon it it). Their Buffalo and garlic parmesan wings were very good as well.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive service. Great music playing, sports on TV, and comfortable clean environment. Enjoyed everything very much and will definitely return again if I visit the area again. Well done, and thank you for such a great experience!

I did a door dash pickup order. I've done this before with no issues. Thus time I ordered a salad and onion rings. When my husband came home with the order I had no dressing for the salad and no onion rings. I called the restaurant and they said they didn't have onion rings and they said the dressing was in the bag which it wasn't. Another employee came on and said she would credit me for the onion rings and over a week later still no credit. No one apologized for the mistake. Too bad because I enjoy the food. Discouraged!

A really nice place to relax and enjoy some food and drinks. The bar area is cool due to the counter having pennies built into it. The lighting is very nice, and the backroom area with the pool table is also unique in its own right. The only downside is that it closes way too early. Next time I go there I'll definitely be taking pictures of the food!

Loved this place! Such a chill locals bar with extremely friendly personable staff. We had quick service, delicious margarita flight- great selection of flavor options (Fiery Rooster Spicy Sriracha Marg was ). To eat: juicy crunchy pickle fries, an AMAZING montreal smoked meat sandwich, and a huge juicy burger & fries! Such great value on everything. Our server Olga was the highlight of the night- such a bubbly green haired goddess who was on top of our every need. The back room had a live band which added to the great vibes. Can’t wait to come back!

We just needed a place to eat real quick, this was open. Didn't need to be this good yet it SLAMMED? Edit: we ate again last night. So far we've had the Buffalo Blue Burger, Adirondack Burger, Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, and Burrito Bowl. Poutine... twice. All three of the sandwiches are perfect, out of this world. Why are they so good? It doesn't make sense, who is running this place. Ma blonde est quebecoise and is into the poutine. Burrito bowl was maybe basic, but you know what, that's a basic thing to order so that's on us.

This is my girlfriend and I's new favorite spot. We were in town and it was lunch time so we decided to stop in. We were a little bummed that deep fried avocado slices were no longer on the menu but we got the Tres Amigos with extra guac and queso instead. The guac is soooo good! We also tried the smothered burritos with white sauce (queso/cheese); my girlfriend got the Saint Albans one and I got the Alburgher. Both were delicious and quite filling we needed to go boxes for them. Side note: most of this stuff is not spicy though so if you are looking for that kick you won't find it here. They are definitely Americanized/not spicy. We were okay with that though because we think too much pepper is spicy. Lol

Food is always quick and solidly delicious! Friendly staff with prompt attentive service that isn't overbearing. Love the laid back "all are welcome here" vibe. Excellent variety on the menu too. This place has become our favorite casual dinner spot.
